BATTLE FORMATS

•	Allstyles:
o	Cypher Prelim for 45 minutes
o	Top 16 (1 round each)
o	Top 8* (2 rounds each)
o	Top 4* (2 rounds each)
o	Finals (3 rounds each)
*****Competitors in top 8 through finals will submit their preferred music genre to dance to the DJ prior. For these rounds the dancer will have to dance one round to the genre they chose and one round the opponent has chosen. Example: Dancer 1 chooses house, Dancer 2 chooses funk, round one will be danced to house music, round two will be danced to funk music. Third round of finals and tie breakers will be left up to the DJ’s choice********

For the past two years, we have brought several different battles for all the dancers coming to our events. We all had a good time. This year, we want to bring some new, fun and enjoyable battle rules for all the participants. The battle is for you to give it the best shot, to show people who you are, and the most important thing - just dance!
