DESCRIPTION:Aite 8Up battle is the brainchild of Jade Forrest aka B boy Jest. He was wanting to start up a regular jam to build up the scene in Welly and give bboys/bgirls something to train for, then Ben Tafau aka B boy Benaza jumped on board to help out. 
The kaupapa was pretty simple, find 8 people to battle, $5 each to enter, winner takes the pot. Find a judge, you had to have entered an 8up previously to judge (to prevent the posers who didn't battle from trying to be a judge...not refering to anyone in particular
