The WE Festival in collaboration with PILZKISTE & TROMPE L'OEIL proudly present to you the motto of WE FEST FRIDAY: Peace Love Unity & Having fun. 
The motto for a culture founded in the South Bronx in the 70's, nowadays known as what we call HIP HOP. On May 19 we'll fulfill your deepest HIP HOP expectations combining the four elements:
Breakdance, Graffiti, MC'ing & Turntablism. 
Throughout documentaries, interactive activities, workshops, and live performances we'll guide you through the history of this beautiful culture, and show you a side of the story which should never be forgotten.

They have been tearing apart dance floors in every club / house party / wedding / festival / café zondag / mandrill / landbouwbelang / keldertje / basement / rooftop / toilet / dixie / exhibition / Amsterdam / Rotterdam / Berlin / squatting house / rave, since ages!!
In their very special own creative way they will make you rock your body till the break of dawn. We're more than hyped to do our last dances to the fine sounds of the one and only:

During the whole day alongside all the other activities you are welcome to join the skate jam & bboy cyphers, keep the street culture alive! For those who want to upgrade their street knowledge and see the ins & outs behind the history of the culture we all love so much, there's a documentary room with some really interesting films, definitely check them out too!
