DESCRIPTION:RUBreaks x RU eSports proudly presents Break Melee ed. 2, at Rutgers University.

Our vision is to bring together the some of the best college dancers and Smash Bros players to compete in a strategical way against their rival schools.  This event will feature a breaking competition as well as a melee tournament.

Held At Douglass Student Center in Treyas Hall, parking in Lot 70.

4 vs 4 B-BOY (STOCK BATTLE)

Judges will select a top 16 based on a point-value system.
Top 16 and up will be judged round for round.  

Each team starts the battle with 4 lives ????????????????.  Judged round for round, every round your team loses, you lose a life ????????????❌ and the battle progresses until your team loses all its lives ❌❌❌❌.  

Individual players can choose to go multiple rounds per battle.  Commandos (or wombo combos ????) are allowed every round.

ACE BATTLE 1 vs 1 (2-Stock Battle)

You can send one person to represent your school's breaking club. Alumni from the Grad Year of 2019 only are applicable to compete as an Ace with club and event host approval.

In this cypher style call-out format, each Ace starts the battle with 2-lives ????????.  Each Ace can call out any other Ace in their cypher.  An Ace loses when he/she loses both lives.

The last two standing Aces per cypher will then progress to the Sudden Death Match ????, where they will take their remaining lives and compete against the last two standing Aces of the other cypher.
