Before the invention of Youtube and social media, teams could only connect through local competitions.  Travel between Northern and Southern California dance teams was rare due to distance and cost.  No one had any idea of the impact this show would make on an entire dance community.  Soon afterwards, theatrical venues also began to recognize and approve “BODY ROCK” as a legitimate production.  Deemed the ‘Superbowl of the Dance Community,’ Body Rock’s mission is to unite dancers from all over the globe to serve as a platform for innovative up-and-coming choreographers, deliver creative performances to an all-ages audience, and set the standard for dance competitions.

BODY ROCK 2019 is an International dance competition that includes:  Korea, German, Japan, Russia, Canada and more!  Watch as the best crew from all over the globe inspire one another and battle it out for bragging rights.  The three hour show is family friendly and will be judged by the elite in the dance industry and community.  Returning for our 20th year, we take pride in helping to shape our dance community.  This year the Preshow will also consist of a huge DANCE EXPO in collaboration with PGN.  We are having demos, dance discussions, an urban choreo X hip hop panel, and MORE!
