- 2v2 prelims to Top16. Capture 1 person from the crew you beat after each battle. Prelims/Top16 = 2v2, Top8 = 3v3, Top4 = 4v4, Final = 5v5.

- New this year: The battles will be knockout-style - that is, judged round-per-round on the spot. If you lose your round, you're out for the rest of the battle. To win the battle, a crew must eliminate all of their opponents.

- This battle format can get totally insane. It is possible for a crew to get whittled down to 1 battler, but then for that battler to turn the tables and eliminate all of their opponents single-handedly.
