DESCRIPTION:BREAK XL & Roco Dance & Fitness is proud to present to you "ROCO ROCK" - an event focused on spreading hip hop and breaking culture to the Bay Area youth!

We are cultivating a positive environment for our youth - THIS IS A DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE EVENT. Please respect the venue!

Breaking - and likewise, hip hop culture in general, has had a positive worldwide impact on the social environment for youth in the past 40 years. Starting as an active voice of expression for underprivileged communities, breaking has continued to be a dance of this generation’s youth and incorporates the values of discipline, respect, and creative individualism.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:
Utilizing his degree in Kinesiology and extensive background in circus arts and powerlifting, Kujo's workshop will first focus on exercise strategies for strengthening, conditioning, stretching, and injury prevention. The second half of the workshop will cover active techniques and terminology of "Walks" and how they differ from what people typically refer to as Floats or UFOs.

For those unable to make the workshop on Saturday, Kujo will also be holding a workshop in San Francisco the following day (Sunday)
