SUMMARY:Night Walker Session : Her Power 2019
DESCRIPTION:Night Walker Sessions: HER POWER, is our very first event that is solely focused on empowering the ladies of street culture. From dance, design, art, music, and fashion, we will be curating an event that brings forward the power of female and highlighting various woman to bring forth inspiration, perspective and knowledge. 

Day One: Consists of various showcases from dance, music, poetry and an art instillation. The showcase roster will be all women driven and focused to bring forward the energy of HER. There will also be a curated conversation/Q&A with three panels of ladies discussing the topics of motherhood and street culture, self made woman entrepreneurs and the importance of self love and value. 

Day Two: Consists of a dance battle, cyphers, high energy showcases, and an art instillation. The dance battle will be divided into two formats: 2 vs 2 LADIES ONLY and an all age and gender 7 to Smoke. 


Day ONE - Showcases and Conversations/Q&A

AN ALL LADIES SHOWCASE (DJs, Rap, Dance, Poetry and Singing)

Q&A panel will be divided between 3 conversations:

1. HER ENTREPRENEURSHIP & BUILDING HER OWN BRAND: A panel of fundamentally sound business women and how they maintain their success in a competitive market full of adversary and inequality, but still maintaining truth and identity. 

2. MOTHERHOOD & PERSUING CREATIVE CAREERS: A conversation with a panel of 3 mothers who have established themselves in the creative industry (whether in dance, music, and/or business) & how they balanced themselves with being a mother while still pursuing their dreams.

3. SELF-LOVE: A conversation about the importance of self love, value and care. This panel will focus on the importance of how to care for yourself as a creative in a demanding industry & how detrimental it can be if self love isn't a priority.

Showcases Day Two: Baby Giirl, Stoni and House of Jaxx. 

Rules: 
2 V 2 (all ages) - 2 versus 2 open styles battle. We will be selecting the top 16. Each side will have 2 rounds with a time limit of 1 minute each round. Judging system will be by majority rules. Two tie breakers counts as a tie. 

7 TO SMOKE (all ages, all genders) - Open seven to smoke. Best 8 will be selected from the preliminaries. 1st person to rack up seven wins under 30 minutes takes the title.
