SUMMARY:Dance Extension Get Down 2019
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the first Dance Extension Get Down!
This event will act as the first of a series of competitions attempting to bring studio hip hop/break-dancers closer to the competitive culture of breakin and all styles! Here are the details of the competitions and formats!

Doors will open at noon!

1 vs 1 kids battle (15 and under)
-1 PM: Preliminaries will start with a showcase battles between competitors
-2:30 PM Top 16 will be picked from the preliminary round and run 
straight through semi finals
-4 PM : Top 4 - finals.
-Prizes: 1st place $50 + trophy, 2nd-4th place: Trophy + small gift bag.

Bboy/Bgirl 7 to smoke adult battle
- Preliminaries will begin at 4:30
- 7 to smoke begins at 5:30 and will run 30 minutes straight or until someone scores 7 points. 
-Prize: $200 to the winner.

Studio Allstyles Battle! (Anyone can enter!)
For those who have never entered an allstyles competition, the DJ will play a large variety of music, mostly within the realm of hip hop, house and pop music with some surprises sprinkled in. Competitors compete against each other in a 1 vs 1 format throughout preliminaries to pick a top 8. Top 8 will get bracketed out and compete straight through the finals. Music will be chosen by the DJ. 
-6 PM: Prelims begin
7 PM: Top 8- Finals
Prize: $100

$10 to enter competition ($10 will enable competitor to enter all competitions)
$5 for spectators
Free for all young kids spectating!

For my grown friends coming from out of town, we will PROBABLY be throwing a house party after the event at the Flowhio Breaks lab! So hit me up if you need help making accommodations!
